Could a Facelift Cure Migraines?
Americans face cosmetic surgery tax
Actor Rupert Everett is continuing to deny claims that he has had cosmetic surgery. In an interview with British newspaper the Daily Mail, he even had the journalist check behind his ears to prove he has no cosmetic surgery scars.
Although he won’t rule out that he may have cosmetic surgery in the future, Everett is putting his more youthful looks down to the fact the he has shaved off his beard and grown out last year’s severe, close-cropped haircut.
“Come on, look for yourself”, he is reported to have said to journalist David Wigg. “You won’t find any marks or scars. I have not had a face lift. Do you see marks of any kind?”
When questioned over whether he would have plastic surgery in the future, Everett responded, “‘Why not? But all these things are better for girls because a man’s forehead that doesn’t move is too big. For girls, if they have hair over it, it’s all right, but for guys it’s not really a thing that works particularly well.
“Yes, those images went all the way round the world and at one point I even lost a job from a great Australian director because of him seeing the before and after images in a newspaper. You can protest as much as you like, but they just doctor the photos.”
