New Zealand women have said that they prefer to age gracefully rather than have cosmetic surgery.
Skincare experts Olay recently ran a survey asking whether 1007 women would rather age naturally or have some form of plastic surgery. The results were overwhelmingly in favour of ageing naturally with 66% looking to age naturally.
Men were in agreement with the women with 61% saying they preferred women who aged naturally and had not gone under the knife.
Despite this poll, cosmetic surgeons have said that they are seeing ever increasing numbers of people having some form of cosmetic surgery with the most common procedures being facelifts, breast augmentations and tummy tucks. This ties in with another of the poll questions which showed that 32 percent of women and 23 percent of men had either had cosmetic surgery or had a friend who had already gone under the knife.
