China bans cosmetic surgery sex change show
Surgeon discovers formula for the perfect breasts
Cosmetic surgery it’s every man’s dream. According to new research, British men who live couch-potato lives, shunning exercise and binging on junk food, still believe that they can get into shape, albeit with the help of cosmetic surgery.
Almost half of British men are said to take no regular exercise, and regularly eat junk food. However, a quarter of men have said that they would definitely consider going under the knife in order to improve their looks or physique.
It all points to a ‘quick fix’ mentality with men looking to cosmetic surgery to fix their problems, without looking at a healthier lifestyle. Experts have warned that cosmetic surgery is not a quick fix, and that basic exercise and dietary changes should be the first step towards a better body, rather than cosmetic procedures without the underlying lifestyle changes, the risks associated with poor diet and little exercise remain, no matter how much plastic surgery is done.
The number of men going under the knife in the UK has doubled in the last two years and is no longer seen as a woman’s preserve. Liposuction, eyelid and eyebag surgery along with rhinoplasty (nose jobs) are the most popular procedures, however other procedures are quickly catching up.
