Pete Burns Admits To More Cosmetic Surgery
Boris Becker Admits To A Facelift
Have you ever looked at photos and wished that your smile was a little more perfect but you don’t want to go down the route of cosmetic dentistry or tooth whitening procedures? A product called the Snap-On Smile may be the perfect solution.
Many people wish that they had whiter or straighter teeth however they are unwilling to go for the range of cosmetic dentistry options available, for example tooth bleaching, adult braces or veneers. For those unwilling to use such drastic measures on their teeth, the Snap-On Smile may be an option.
The patient must first see a dentist who takes three moulds of your mouth – an impression of the upper teeth, an impression of the lower teeth, and an impression of your bite. Patients are then asked to choose the shape and colour they would like for their teeth. It is advisable when choosing the tooth colour to match the whites of the eyes otherwise the end result is a little unnatural looking, however the decision is entirely the patients own. There are three standard shapes of incisors and canines to choose from and again, it is advisable to go for teeth that are similar to your natural tooth shape.
The dentist then sends off your choices alongside the impressions and approximately three weeks later, you will be able to pick up your brand new smile.
The brace feels like plastic and should fit snuggly over the teeth and dentists claim that you can wear it all day and even eat and drink with it on. However if you have never worn a brace before, the sensation may be very odd. The brace can be snapped on and off at will meaning it can be removed discretely and easily if you prefer not to eat or drink with it in.
Most people are expected to use it on special occasions only rather than for everyday use.
At around £900/$1800 for the Snap-On Smile, this is not a cheap device. Because of the price, here at CosmeticSurgerys.co.uk, we would be slightly wary of eating and drinking with the brace on in case of cracking or staining.
If you have an overbite or your top teeth protrude, the Snap-On Brace may also not be a good option for you as the brace fits over your teeth and will therefore push the teeth out even further.

I totally recommend anyone who wants to improve their smile with out the pain of the procedure or the bill! I have had it for about 5 months. It did take me about a week to feel comfortable speaking and eating while wearing it. I think the hard part is getting over the “fear factor” of eating. I was afraid it was going to break but it has not. My snap on smile doesn’t have stains because I follow the cleaning direction every time I wear.
Where do I go for prices? And what kind of dentist do I see? Iv wanted these for a long time, had braces and did not work! Strange…and I want white teeth!……question, what would happen if you put black on a q-tip and rubbed on teeth, would they get white? Thank you Debra
