Dolly Parton has explained her reasons for having cosmetic surgery she claims she has not had plastic surgery for vanity reasons, rather her surgery was for her fans.

The 63 year old explained that she feels that she owes it to her fans to remain ‘looking like Dolly’ and this means she feels the need to have cosmetic surgery to maintain her image.

“I look at it like it is,” she explained. “If you’ve got the money and you’re going to be out there, you owe it to people not to look like a dog if you can help it.”

Parton has had many different forms of cosmetic surgery including facelifts and breast augmentations and she isn’t afraid to admit that she has been under the knife. In the past, she has said “If I see something sagging, bagging and dragging, I’m going to nip it, tuck it and suck it. Why should I look like an old barn dog if I don’t have to?!”
